Geoffrey Girnun

Biomedical Researcher with Expertise in Oncology 

Geoffrey Girnun founded his own lab at the University of Maryland in Baltimore in 2007, and subsequently moved to Stony Brook University in 2013 till 2019. During that time, Dr. Geoffrey Girnun produced groundbreaking findings connecting metabolic pathways to cancer. In addition, he created proof-of-concept therapy techniques that target these pathways. Dr. Girnun has also worked as a consultant for early stage investors, hedge funds, small biotech startups, and big pharmaceutical corporations. He likes reading, being outside, exercising, and spending time with friends and family.
